TNChicks Saturday Photo Hunt THEME: Classic
Is it my imagination or are these hunts getting harder? lol...I immediately ran to the dictionary for this weeks idea....

These two pieces of jewelry belonged to Grandma Powers. I strangely inherited them. They are both in perfect condition. The crown pin has all of the orginal glass and pearl "stones" in them and is rather large for a pin, some might have called gaudy in late 1950's, at 2" x 2". The rhinestone choker is still as shiny as the days Grandma Powers wore them in the 60's. I treasure these two pieces.

Funny,... I remember Grandma wearing them,.. the pin especially! Great photos of them. And all I got was her cast iron frying pan,.... lol. Just kidding. Great job sis,... hugs!

I love pearls and I like the two pieces of jewellery. My mother-in-law gave me her gold jewellery last year. I'm supposed to pass it on to my daughter-in-law. :(

I have a couple pieces of jewelry that have been passed down from my mom and MIL. I think it makes them more beautiful to know that it once belonged to someone you love.
