TNChick's Photo Hunt~~~Theme: MEMORY

Add Image

This statue is erected at the Palm Springs Air Museum in California. Bobbie purchased two bricks to honor our father, Keith Douglas Powers, and her father in law, John Kenneth Eschbach, who was a P.O.W., serving in the European WWII as a Tailgunner. The The two bricks are behind the statue. The first photo shows our daddy's brick, in memory.

The shadowbox that my twin sister made honoring our father, Keith Douglas. Our dad served in the Coast Guard in WWII, in the Asian Pacific Theater, in the Leyte Gulf
.
Daddy passed away when twin and I were 12 years old, the oldest of 6.
The next two graphics were made by my sister, Cindy (aka KissedAlotAtoads), in memory of our brother and our mother. Our sweet brother Douglas recently passed away this past December. Momma passed away August of 2007. MY sisters and brother and I miss them every moment of every day! My sisters are my twin, Bobbie, Cindy (KissedAlotAtoads), Mary Lou, Sande and brother Don.

That's lovely. Although we miss those that have gone before us, we are so lucky to have had them in our life.
